Why Choose Dejusto Plumbing?

Our Process

1

Access Point Location

We locate an accessible cleanout or entry point to your sewer or drain system, usually found in the yard, garage, or roof vent.

2

Camera Insertion

We feed a flexible, waterproof fiber-optic camera cable into the pipe. The camera head has powerful LED lights to illuminate the pipe interior.

3

Real-Time Video Analysis

As the camera travels through the pipe, we watch the video feed in real-time, looking for cracks, roots, offsets, bellies (sags), or blockages.

4

Locating & Marking

When we find a defect, we use a locator wand above ground to mark the exact spot and depth, so any necessary repair digging is precise and minimal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can a sewer camera see?
Our cameras can identify tree root intrusion, broken or collapsed pipes, offset joints, corrosion, grease buildup, and foreign objects. We can also see if the pipe has proper slope or if it has ‘bellies’ where water collects.
Not usually for a first-time clog. However, if you have a drain that backs up repeatedly despite being cleaned, a camera inspection is highly recommended to find the underlying structural issue causing the recurring problem.
Yes, we can record the video footage to a digital file. This is especially useful for insurance claims or if you need to show the condition of the line to a third party.
The camera is purely a diagnostic tool—it sees the problem but doesn’t fix it. However, it is the most critical step in the repair process because it tells us exactly what tool or repair method (like hydro-jetting or spot repair) is needed.
